In 1975, rock legends Aerosmith scored big on the Billboard charts with their hit song, “Walk This Way”. Not only did the song become one of the group’s biggest hits, but also, several years later, hip-hop legends RUNDMC covered the song and it became the first rap record to land on the Billboard charts and MTV. Prior to this record, rap and rock had been an unlikely pair, but as unlikely as it may have been, it also became one of the greatest collaborations in music.
